Desk-mounted tall monitor stand
A tall LCD monitor stand is an excellent way to free up desktop space. Some models use G-clamps fastened to the rear of the desk to create a completely clear desktop, while others have a stand, or fasten onto the desk with a special fixture. Raised monitor mounts and stands have a platform that lifts monitors to eye level while providing space underneath to store keyboards when not in use. The increased height of extra-tall monitor stands allows for easy viewing when standing. Standard universal attachment holes on the rear of monitors provide an easy method of fastening them to freestanding monitor stands.
Tall dual monitor stands
A dual monitor stand allows the display of more information than is possible on a single screen. Some models have a large base to provide a stable platform that can support two identical monitors on either side of the base. If monitors aren’t the same size and weight, it’s better to choose a mount with a fixed mounting plate, a through-the-desk grommet, or a G-clamp that is strong enough to support an unbalanced load. Alternatively, consider two monitor stands placed side-by-side. Some monitor stands accommodate three monitors mounted adjacently while others hold four monitors arranged in a rectangular pattern.

Articulated tall desktop monitor stands
While tall computer monitor stands allow a limited amount of adjustment, articulated stands offer greater flexibility. Some models use hinged arms that let users move the monitors out of the way when not in use while others have spring-loaded arms that also allow vertical movement. Because an articulated arm is heavier, some have substantial baseplates for fastening the arm to a wall, a feature that does away with the need for a desk or table to support the monitor.
Monitor stand accessories
Keep your monitor stand installations neat with cable protectors, cable ties, and other computer accessories and peripherals. Options include wireless keyboards, wireless mice, and cables. Other practical computer accessories include Bluetooth® speakers, webcams, and privacy filters. Docking stations can simplify the connection of laptops to monitors and other peripherals while a notebook stand helps ensure that laptop keyboards are at the right height for comfort.
